The Michael Ann & Saquon Barkley Hope Foundation hosted its inaugural Alpha Invitational, a premier bracket-style youth flag football tournament featuring 31 elite teams from across the region.

Held June 20–21, 2026, at Whitehall High School in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley, the two-day event brought together hundreds of athletes, coaches, and families for a weekend celebrating competition, community, & opportunity. In addition to high-level flag football, attendees enjoyed interactive fan experiences, youth activities, local food vendors, live music, giveaways, & appearances from special guests, creating a festival-like atmosphere for participants of all ages.

More than just a tournament, the Alpha Invitational reflected the Foundation’s mission to empower & inspire young people through sports, leadership, & community engagement. By combining elite athletic competition with meaningful programming & family friendly entertainment, the event created lasting memories while expanding access to positive experiences for youth throughout the region.
