The National Basketball Players Association & Gold Level Sports and Entertainment hosted The Throne National Championship, a premier bracket-style tournament featuring the nation’s top eight boys’ and girls’ high school basketball teams competing for national titles.

Held March 27–29, 2025, at American Dream in East Rutherford, the event combined elite competition with impactful off-court programming. Championship teams received grants from the NBPA Foundation to support their athletic programs. The event also featured educational workshops on life skills, wellness, and financial literacy led by JPMorgan Chase, alongside a Careers in Sports panel hosted with Minorities in Sports Business.
